ZenMed has numerous acne treatment kits on the market now, including ZenMed's Scar Treatment Kit and ZenMed's Support Serum for Rosacea System. Given our recent reviews on various anti-blemish treatment kits, we have decided to review ZenMed's newest anti-pimple product: the ZenMed Derma Cleanse System. There are several DermaCleanse product combinations, so our review will focus on ZenMed's Acne Therapy for Combination Skin.
The DermaCleanse Combination Skin kit includes a "Sebum Regulating" moisturizer, an acne gel, a facial cleansing gel developed for sensitive skin, and ZenMed AHA/BHA Complex.
The ingredients per product of ZenMed's 4-product acne therapy system are as follows:
ZenMed lacked any sort of free trial or package deal and came at a hefty price tag of $74.85 for a month supply. Just by checking out the product ingredients, you'll notice that the products don't seem to be very different from one another. This opinion resounded amongst our testing panel, which simply could not tell the difference between ZenMed's acne gel and AHA/BHA complex, aside from the packaging anyway.
Minimal improvement was noticeable even after the third week of use, according to half of our product testers. Complaints regarding ZenMed's acne treatment included dryness, minimal reduction of facial oils, and redness and even a few cases of allergic reactions to the cleansing gel and facial moisturizer!
Aside from the ineffectiveness of the product itself, our testers also reported customer service problems and delayed delivery with the online purchases of ZenMed's Acne Therapy for Combination Skin. The email support was awful at best and our testers were given the run-around regarding the return policy for this all-around disappointing product.
ZenMed is all hype with little if any value. The treatment kit is overpriced and just not produce good enough results to merit any investment. Product-Critic gives ZenMed an unquestionable Do Not Buy rating for being a poor, unreliable anti-blemish product.
